Miguel is an expert and experienced Controller who has worked with SMBs for years. He is currently available to take on new clients.

Miguel Puerto is a highly accomplished finance professional and keen leader with strong business acumen. He has helped develop and implement strategies that mitigate risk, add operational efficiency, and meet compliance requirements. Prior to Crews Consulting Group, he worked as a Controller for The Waldwin Group, whose business encompasses 24 food franchises, real estate development, property rental, and production facilities. Miguel also previously owned and operated a successful accounting firm catering to SMBs, where he grew and retained a dedicated client base while increasing revenue by 40% year-over-year.
Miguel holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting and is continuing his education to become a CPA (Certified Public Accountant). He loves triathlons, running, and biking, and enjoys combining sports with his very diverse collection of up-to-date music. Miguel has strong family ties and makes it a point to connect with his Spanish roots.
