8. We have weekly meetings where we make sure our goals are on track.

9. We know which activities make our business successful and track them weekly.

10. Our core processes are well-documented, and everyone is trained in and following them.

11. We have one key number or goal that we are working toward over the next 5-10 years.

12. Everyone at the company can recite our mission statement, and we use our mission to help us make decisions.

13. We have a clearly defined target market and value proposition, and we use that information to inform all of our sales and marketing activities.

14. Our leaders regularly take time to think about the business and explore new possibilities.

15. We have documented our strategic goals for the next 3 years and are working toward them every quarter.

16. We have a financial model for how to spend money in areas like sales and marketing, cost of goods, general and administrative expenses, etc.

17. We have a realistic 3 year budget that shows how we will meet our revenue goals.

19. We close our books monthly and have financial reporting that we review on a monthly basis.

20. We update our financial projections at least quarterly to make them as accurate as possible.
