What You’ve Already Learned Can Be More Valuable than the Next Best Thing
One of the major traps entrepreneurs fall into is looking for the next great solution to their problems.
It’s “flavor of the month” business management, and while new ideas are invigorating (and sometimes transformative), they can quickly become distractions.
I get it. I put out a weekly newsletter that has new, unique content every single issue.
At the same time, I’m careful to not get too attached to the next great idea. The most enduring trends in business all come back to getting your fundamentals right.
So, if you’re looking for fresh inspiration in 2025, here’s my suggestion. Revisit what you learned in 2024. I guarantee there are more nuggets to mine and more information to soak up.
And maybe, there’s a key takeaway that will change your business, just waiting for you. Something you didn’t see the first time that will finally “click.”
In that spirit, I’m rounding up a few of my favorite posts from 2024. I know you didn’t read them all (we track that sort of thing), so here’s your chance.
Let me know if anything hits differently now and what you found most valuable.
It’s a new year, and I know you’re raring to go. But sometimes, the best way to move forward is by looking back.
